1. About this extension

CHAT.IMG ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that automates image generation on ChatGPT (chatgpt.com). It allows users to submit one or more prompts in a side panel and automatically downloads the resulting images. The Extension is developed and maintained by an independent developer and is not affiliated with OpenAI.

This extension is limited to chatgpt.com only (and the legacy domain chat.openai.com). It does not access any other websites.

2. What data we collect

We collect no personal data. The Extension does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, address, phone number, ID numbers)
• Authentication credentials (passwords, login tokens, security questions)
• Financial information (credit cards, payment details)
• Health information
• Personal communications (the contents of emails, chats, or messages)
• Location data (IP address, GPS coordinates)
• Browsing history
• User activity tracking (clicks, mouse position, keystroke logging)
• Website content from any site other than chatgpt.com

3. What data is stored locally on your device

To provide its functionality, the Extension stores the following data only inside your own browser (using chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device:

• Your preferences: generation mode (text-to-image / image-to-image), concurrent prompt count, delay between prompts, save folder name, retry count, UI language (Korean / English), "new chat per prompt" toggle.
• Reference images for image-to-image mode: images you upload are kept temporarily as data URLs to be passed to the chatgpt.com page. They are deleted immediately after the corresponding automation run completes.
• Pending automation state: if the chatgpt.com page is reloaded mid-run, the queued prompts are saved so the run can resume.
